We are currently on holiday in Oslo after having spent a week in London, another overwhelmingly stylish and envy inducing centre of cool. The best and worst thing of being over here is that there is SO. MUCH. AWESOME. DECOR (don’t get me wrong, there’s plenty of crap over here too, but we’d prefer to accentuate the positive and not waste precious timing ‘Living laughing and loving’) Vom.Aside from all of the fabulous architecture in Oslo, it was the promise of a mall entirely devoted to lighting, chairs, linens, candle holders and everything we hold dear at BFD that had us chomping at the bit to get downtown on Wednesday morning. **NOTE: Although all of our content on the site so far is affordable and available to be bought and shipped to Canada, none of what you are about to see has been vetted in terms of affordability or availability. This is 100% design porn on an international scale. We cannot be held responsible for what you may buy as a result of this post.**
It is SUCH a good thing European voltage is different than North American. It means we can’t justify buying lamps, which are more affordable than couches, and easier to pack.
And this was JUST the first store. Then the Habitat store happened. Le sigh. This wallet draining CB2 style/affordability minefield is thanks to the UK’s style maven, Jasper Conran. They don’t deliver outside the UK. It’s for your own good.
And here’s a few more, just for sh**s and gigs. Who are we kidding? Sighs and tears.
I think this is enough to tide you all over until next week. When we show you all the pictures we took in HAY. OMG.
